being automated. If these intermediaries did not exist, the world as is today could not exist,
and manufacturers could not sell their products to the consumers on this scale.
The network of the wholesalers helps the manufacturers sell their goods relatively
easy. A lot of prodct marketing, sales contacts, costumers services, and technical support
is being done by the organisation of the specific wholesaler which helps the manufacturer.
Consumers and companies buy goods from wholesalers and need support or assistance to
integrate the products into the workplace of the companies or provide the support
and expertise needed to use the equipment.
Merchant wholesalers usually buy and sell the goods on their own account, engaged
in durable and non-durable goods. Durable goods are mostly new but can also be
used items with a life-expectancy of around three years. Products like: machinery
equipment, household-appliances, motorvehicles, metals,minerals,
construction materials, hobby goods, recyclable materials and goods, and so on.
While non-durable products have mostly a life-expectancy of less than three years.
